Updating to the New Golden Nugget Online Gaming Experience - Overview (US)

Important Information

Golden Nugget Online Gaming is updating your experience to continue bringing you the best online casino experience possible. Updates to the new experience will occur at different time periods for current jurisdictions on the previous Golden Nugget Online Gaming experience. On January 17th, 2024, the previous Golden Nugget Online Gaming experience was retired for Michigan players, and the new experience became available. During this update, player accounts will be moved to the new Golden Nugget Online Gaming experience.

The update to the new experience

  • West Virginia: December 14th, 2023
  • Michigan: January 17th, 2024

During this update, players will be asked to sign into the new experience and merge any separate accounts, such as a Pennsylvania and/or West Virginia Golden Nugget Online Gaming account.

After this update, the Golden Nugget Online Gaming Sportsbook will be closed, and only Golden Nugget Online Gaming Casino will be available.

No, you'll have your cash balance fully transferred to the new Golden Nugget Online experience. Any active promotional credits will be converted to cash upon the update to the new Golden Nugget Online Gaming experience based on a conversion rate of 1:1 for bonus dollars and promotional credits to cash.

What happens to my open Sportsbook bets?

Any open Sportsbook bets will be settled prior to the update.

Can I access my Golden Nugget Online Sportsbook betting history in my new Golden Nugget Online Gaming account?

Yes, you will still be able to view your Sportsbook betting history post-update.

Will I be able to cash out on open bets?

No. The cashout function will be removed from any open bets on the Golden Nugget Online Gaming Sportsbook once the update occurs, as Golden Nugget Online Gaming Sportsbook will no longer be available.

What is the conversion rate for promotional credits?

A player’s promotional credits and/or bonus dollars will be converted at a 1:1 ratio to cash. 

If you had valid bonus spins remaining on your account, the value of those bonus spins have been converted to cash and applied to your wallet as cash.

As an example only: If a player received bonus dollars with a play-through requirement, but the player did not complete the playthrough before the update to the new experience, the bonus dollars would be converted to cash in their wallet as a one-time courtesy due to the update to the new experience.

What about my Bonus Spins?

Bonus spins will no longer be available post-update to the new Golden Nugget Online Gaming experience.

Any outstanding bonus spins on player accounts will have expired at the point of updating to the new Golden Nugget Online Gaming experience. If you had valid bonus spins remaining on your account, the value of those bonus spins have been converted to cash and applied to your wallet as cash.
