How do I manage my two-factor authentication (2FA)? (US)

Important Information

Golden Nugget Online Gaming Customer Support will never ask you to confirm a code that was sent to your device. If someone asks you for the code, please change your password immediately.

Notes about managing two-factor authentication (2FA):

  • 2FA won’t work with a phone number that can’t receive SMS messages. 
  • If you need to change your phone number, you’ll need to turn two-factor authentication off and back on.
  • Some jurisdictions require 2FA enabled and cannot be turned off. 

How to enable/disable 2FA via the Golden Nugget Online Gaming app

  1. Log into the Golden Nugget Online Gaming app. 
  2. Tap your profile photo and select Settings.
  3. Select Login Security Preferences
  4. Toggle ON/OFF Receive SMS next in the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section.
  5. In the Two-Factor Authentication pop-up window, enter your mobile phone number and click Send Verification code
  6. Enter the 2FA code sent to your mobile phone and toggle 2FA On.
    • To disable 2FA follow the same steps as above and toggle 2FA OFF.

  1. Log into Golden Nugget Online Gaming Casino
  2. Click your profile photo and select Account Information
  3. On the left rail, click Login & Security
  4. Toggle ON/OFF Receive SMS next in the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section.
  5. In the Two-Factor Authentication pop-up window, enter your mobile phone number and click Send Verification code
  6. Enter the 2FA code sent to your mobile phone and toggle 2FA On.
    • To disable 2FA follow the same steps as above and toggle 2FA OFF.
